The Alpha course is primarily for people who want to exlpore the christian faith, with a chance to look at the big questions of life in a relaxed, friendly and non-threatening environment.
Some of the topics covered are:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how should I pray?
- How does God guide us?
- How can I resist evil?
- Why and how should I tell others?
- Does God heal today?
- What about the church?
The evening begins with a chance to get to know the others on the course over a meal together, before listening to a short talk on the week's topic which leads to open discussion time.
The next Alpha course will begin on 4th October.
